Chiara Mason’s debut book was a dream start to her career as an author.

Blooming: Poetry for Seasons of Change, released in 2023 and featured by NowMedia at the time, earned the Okanagan author a Canadian Book Club Award.

“On the heels of this success, I decided to write a second poetry book, which will be launching this month,” Mason explained.

Book number two is called No More Second Chances: poems to heal your heart, and Mason says it explores topics of love, self-worth and healing across a range of relationships.

Feb. 15 is the official release date and Mason will be doing a book signing at Indigo Kelowna, at Orchard Park Mall, from noon until 5 pm that day.

The busy author won’t stop there either, as she’ll head to The Flamingo Room at Motherlove Kombucha, at 109-889 Vaughan Ave. in Kelowna, that evening.

From 7-9 pm, Mason will host a soirée that will include plenty of goodies and a poetry reading from the book.
