  • Aurora Cannabis launches ‘Ready for Edibles’ campaign ahead of official release

Cannabis stores across the country are gearing up for edible products to land on the shelves by mid-December.

To help prepare Canadians, Aurora Cannabis has launched a campaign designed to better educate users on how to store and use the now-legal products.

Titled Ready for Edibles, the campaign features a “Not Safe for Work” theme, showing blurred out pictures of cookies, gummies and other edibles with knowledgable slogans.

“We want to make sure consumers have the information they need to understand the differences in these products, how to consume them,” said Terry Booth, CEO of Aurora Cannabis.

The campaign also includes educational content on how to detect over-consumption, how onset time works and the dangers of combining edibles with alcohol or driving.

Cannabis concentrates, beverages and topicals will also be available by mid-December when it's believed a small selection of concentrated vape products, chocolate-based edibles and a limited assortment of beverages will become available.
