  • Armstrong MetalFest releases full 2018 line up

The day is finally here metalheads, Armstrong Metal Fest has released the full line up for their 10th anniversary year.

After taunting and teasing us with releasing three bands at a time for the past few weeks, organizers have finally unleashed the beast, and we are not disappointed.

Set to headline the festival is Canadian death metal band, Kataklysm. The festival date aligns well with the upcoming release of their thirteenth album Meditations, which they released their second single “Narcissist” for this past Monday.

Returning favorites, Vancouver technical death metal band, Archspire, have also been added as an ode to the past decade of metal provided by the festival.

Neck Of The Woods from Vancouver and The Kennedy Veil from Wisconsin also sit near the top of the stack of big names.

Though a large portion of the line up features death metal, that isn’t all attendees can expect to find. The festival is known for providing a platform for bands of each subgenre to perform their creations including power metal and thrash to doom and everything in between.

Many of Kelowna’s (and surrounding area's) own talented musicians are set to hit the AMF stage throughout the weekend including Xul, Gladius Sky, Apollyon, DropDeadFred, ArkenFire, Irradiation, Death Machine and Displaced.
