The cold weather is expected to stick around today, so make sure to dress warmly if you are venturing outside.

The arctic intrusion is expected to persist until Saturday afternoon.

Wind chill values will likely moderate Saturday afternoon, but wind chill values may remain near -10 to -20 through Sunday morning.

The weather system will affect Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria, Fraser Valley and the Southern Gulf Islands

There is a risk of frostbite and hypothermia. If outside, dress warmly in layers and stay dry. Cover as much exposed skin as possible.
