The snow keeps on falling at Big White.
As of 6 am this morning, the hill has a snow base of 57 cm.
About 4 cm of new snow fell overnight.
Wind is calm, the skies are overcast and visibility is limited.
Three runs and three lifts are open, according to the latest update from the resort.
“We received 4 new cm of snow last night and more snow is expected throughout the week,” they explained.
“A friendly reminder it is early season conditions on the mountain. Please stay on the groomed runs and adhere to all on-mountain signage.”
Don’t forget, meanwhile, that the 12th annual Big Reds Wine Festival kicks off on Friday.
“Guests will have the chance to try locally made wines and have the opportunity to learn about what makes these wines so unique to the Okanagan,” Big White explained.
“Saturday is sold out, but you can still get your tickets for Friday night! Click here to learn more.”
