    All evacuation orders and alerts now rescinded in Summerland

    The District of Summerland has rescinded all evacuation alerts in the District, which means all properties along Garnet Valley Road north of,and inclusive of, Wildhorse Road, are no longer in effect.

    Effective 10 a.m. Thursday, the evacuation alerts were also lifted for the final two properties in Callan Road and one on Meadow Valley Road.An evacuation alert for these and other properties may need to be reissued if conditions change: however, if that is deemed necessary, the process will re-commence.

    There are currently no evacuation alerts or evacuation arders in effect within the District of Summerland.
