Air Canada is suspending flights from Kamloops to Vancouver and Calgary

Air Canada has announced a number of route suspensions, two of which affect flights in and out of Kamloops Airport (YKA).

Starting on March 23, the airline will no longer be flying between YKA and Calgary International Airport.

Then, on April 1, the route between YKA and Vancouver International Airport will be suspended as well.

Both route suspensions will be in effect until April 30.

“We continue to adapt our schedule and capacity in response to COVID-19 and have postponed launches or extended the temporary suspension of several routes,” said a statement from Air Canada.

“Air Canada will continue to monitor this evolving situation closely in consultation with the Public Health Agency of Canada, Transport Canada and Global Affairs and will adjust its schedule as appropriate.”
