If you’ve been missing the sunshine, here’s some good news.

NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English is predicting some afternoon sunshine to brighten your long weekend.

“Expect more clouds this morning, but drier air moving into our region will bring us clearing today with sun by the afternoon,” she says.

“After two weeks of subzero temperatures, we finally saw a positive number in the valley yesterday with a high of +1 at the Kelowna airport. However we are going to cool down again today with daytime highs slightly below freezing.”
