UPDATE: Highway 97 has reopened

(Update 6:30 p.m.) – DriveBC is reporting the northbound lanes along Highway 97 have been reopened.

(Original Story) – A vehicle incident has shut down the northbound lanes on Highway 97.

Drive BC is reporting that the highway is closed just south of the junction with Highway 33.

An assessment is currently in progress and there’s no estimated time for the road to reopen.

However, a detour is available at Enterprise Road.
