As the snow melts, another busy winter season is in the books at Big White.
According to senior vice president Michael J Ballingall, the 2018/2019 winter season was "one of the most successful in history" with several new attendance records being set.
From Opening Day on November 22 to Closing Day on April 22, resort staff kept close tabs on everything from runs skied to steaks served and results paint a picture of busy days up at the mountain.

Here's a by the numbers look at the season:
- A record-breaking five million people took rides up the Big White chair lifts
- A total of 682 cm of snow, with the largest 24-hour snowfall measured at 28 cm on Feb. 22
- A seasonal low of -22°C on Feb. 6 and seasonal high of 9°C on March 20
- A record-breaking 70,000 runs skied on New Years Day
- Big White Ski & Board School gave 62,000 lessons in 13 languages throughout the season
- Clocktower Coffee made 41,555 shots of espresso and served 6,234 chocolate chip cookies
- Kettle Valley Steakhouse carved up 210 50 oz Tomahawk steaks
- The Moose Lounge poured 35,214 sleeves of beer
Big White also announced that the resort will continue to stay open until the third weekend of April following a successful initial trial run this year.
The resort's summer season featuring hiking, biking and more fun begins June 27.
