It was a hot Monday in the Okanagan and the rest of the week is expected to be similar, but not today.
Today seems to be the one blip in the radar in what should be a beautiful week otherwise as we see a bit of a change in the weather pattern.
“Expect a slight change in the weather pattern today with cooler conditions and more cloud at times. Daytime highs will be near or slightly below normal in the low to mid 20s,” explains Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.
“Sunny breaks are still possible, but so is an early morning shower. Warmer air will gradually push back in from the south again on Wednesday.”
With a high right around 20°C, there’s no need to bust out that sunscreen today as the UV index is only expected to reach 2.
You could go with or without allergy medicine, as the pollen index is moderate and it looks like it’ll stay that way for the next few days.
Get those indoor chores finished today, Kelowna, because the summer weather will hopefully be back tomorrow!
