What a way to make your morning even more merry!
“Land of Nod” Cinnamon Buns
These are a favourite family tradition, and they couldn’t be easier. The night before, put frozen dinner rolls (available in the freezer section of most grocery stores) into a bundt pan, and top with a few simple ingredients. Let them rise overnight, and simply bake in the morning! They’re gooey, soft, cinnamon-y and you can’t mess them up. Get the traditional recipe here, but you can also find the recipe on the packaging for the frozen dinner rolls!
Eggs Benedict Casserole
This make-ahead recipe turns a brunch classic into simple comfort food classic, and it’s much easier than trying to attempt making traditional eggs bennies for a crowd. The casserole is made up of English muffins, Canadian bacon and eggs, and then topped with creamy, flavourful hollandaise. Get this awesome recipe here! If homemade hollandaise sauce intimidates you, try this easy recipe for hollandaise made in your blender.
Eggnog Overnight French Toast
Eggnog is the perfect ingredient for scrumptious French toast, since it’s already full of French toast ingredients: eggs, cream and cinnamon! Who doesn’t love the bakery flavours of a fresh, warm, ham and swiss croissant? You can throw this together the night before and serve it up in a pinch for breakfast time. It’s a simple and classy way to enjoy flavours that you already love, and if you’re feeling fancy, you could even mix in veggies like asparagus or tomato. Find the recipe here.
