Overnight construction across the street from Kelowna General Hospital begins tonight.
Work on the new development will come with an associated road closure of Pandosy Street at Rose Avenue, right in front of KGH.
As a result, the road will be closed from 7 pm until 7 am daily for around two weeks, as work is expected to finish up in late September.

“The closure is required to facilitate the installation of utility services, including water and sanitary connections, for a new development in the area,” a City of Kelowna release explained.
It’s an easy detour around the closure using nearby streets, but the City advises motorists to allow for extra travel time through the area this month.
Emergency access to the hospital will remain available throughout construction.
