    2 suspects charged after breaking into abandoned building on 2nd Avenue

    Prince George RCMP was busy on Saturday, this time dealing with a break and enter. 

    According to police, at 8:30 pm, frontline officers with the Downtown Safety Unit observed two people breaking into a vacant building on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Quebec Street. 

    A Police Dog Service team was deployed to aid officers in arresting the perps. Both suspects were located in a short time and taken into custody. 

    The BC Prosecution Service approved the charges of Break, Enter and Commit to 44-year-old Quinnton Vern Campbell and 28-year-old April Leanna Jackson. Both suspects, who were Prince George residents, were released on bail and are scheduled to appear in court on November 13th. 

    Anyone with information on break and enters in the city is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
