  • 2 former Kamloops Blazers named AHL All-Stars

    A pair of former Kamloops Blazers will be representing their squads at the American Hockey League's All-Star game later this month. 

    Goaltender Connor Ingram will strap on the pads for the Central Division while Rudolf Balcers got the nod as a forward in the North. 

    Ingram has bounced around the AHL and ECHL over the past three years. This season with the Milwaukee Admirals, he has posted 2.12 goals-against, .929 save percentage and an 11-3-4 record. In his AHL career, Ingram has a record of 35-21-5.

    The Blazers had Ingram between 2014 and 2017 where he won 81 games. He also represented the club at the 2017 World Juniors playing for Team Canada. 

    Balcers has lit it up for the Belleville Senators this season, scoring eight times to go along with 25 points in 19 games. In his AHL career, Balcers 104 points in 129 games.

    Despite playing just 66 games with the Blazers, Balcers scored 40 times to go along with 77 points.
