As of August 1st, wildfires had burned 460,000 hectares of land across B.C. with a heat wave and dangerous fire conditions up coming.

It's a statistic that demonstrates the tough times residents of the province are currently facing.

The smoke currently present in our skies is concerning for health reasons and also makes for a seriously spooky photograph.
