Lucy is looking for a furever home!
She is a 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, and she is currently at the Victoria SPCA waiting to find a loving family.

Lucy has traveled all the way from Texas. Having previously been adopted from the US, she moved to Canada as a pup and has sadly ended up back here in a shelter when her previous owner was no longer able to take care of her.
Lucy is a big cuddly goofball, and once she gets to know you, she will greet you with all the tail wags, cuddles and kisses.
She loves walks where she can sniff and explore, but sometimes gets too excited and will try to take YOU for a walk instead.
Lucy gets very excited when meeting other dogs, so she needs a home with someone who is ready to continue working with her on her manners. She could likely go to a home with another calm dog sibling, as long as they have a slow introduction.
The SPCA says that one of Lucy’s favourite things to do is roam around in their gym, where she gets the “slowest, goofiest zoomies you’ve ever seen.”
She is not that interested in toys, she only wants to play with her human friends. This girl loves cuddle time just as much as play time and is always ready for a big belly rub.
Lucy is currently on a diet to help her with her weight-loss and allergies, which is typical for her breed.
