Butchart Gardens to mark the Christmas season with light up event

People are invited to join Butchart Gardens as they officially flip the switch for Christmas.

At 5 pm on Dec. 1, the gardens will mark the start of the Christmas season by illuminating the grounds with thousands of lights.

Butchart Gardens

The event will take place right outside the Rose Carousel, and there will be carollers and lots of Christmas spirit.

Starting Dec. 1, 2023 until Jan. 6, 2024, you can enjoy the Magic of Christmas display at Butchart Gardens. Tickets for the popular season are available online.

The dining room also features Christmas menus for dinner and high tea.
