    Police still looking for suspect after security guard stabbed in Langford

    A suspect is still at large after a security guard was stabbed at a Langford shopping centre this week.

    Just before midnight on August 7 2023, just before 12 am, the West Shore RCMP received a report of a stabbing that had taken place in the alleyway behind Ali-Baba’s Pizza and Serious Coffee at Millstream Village Shopping Centre, 2401 Millstream Road.

    The West Shore RCMP said that their officers, as well as Police Dog Services, immediately attended the area. 

    The security guard was located with a stab wound and he was transported to hospital.

    His injuries were considered non-life-threatening 

    Police contained and canvassed the area to search for suspects and witnesses, however none have been identified.

    The suspect is described as:

    • Caucasian male
    • Approximately 5’11 tall
    • Brown hair
    • Wearing a black and blue hoodie and black backpack
