UPDATE: Scott Peter Goodmanson elected Langford mayor
(Update: Oct. 15, 2022 @ 10 pm): Scott Peter Goodmanson has been elected as mayor for the City of Langford, beating out incumbent candidate Stew Young, who had held the position for the past 30 years.

Results for Langford's city council seats have also been confirmed, with incumbent Lillian Szpak winning re-election, and Kimberley Guiry, Colby Harder, Keith Yacucha, Mary Wagner, and Mark Morley being voted in.

The polls have officially closed for the 2022 municipal election in Langford

Now we wait for the ballots to be counted before we find out who will be the next mayor and council.

For mayor we have two candidates:
- Stewart Young (incumbent)
- Scott Peter Goodmanson
For council we have 14 candidates:
- Shirley Ackland
- Denise Blackwell (incumbent)
- Kimberley Guiry
- Colby Harder
- Wendy Hobbs
