There’s no bigger party than a Phillips Brewery party.
For the third and last instalment of its concert series, Phillips is packing its backyard with some serious talent, including St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Sampa the Great, Carmanah, and Sleepshake.

The event is named after one of its best-selling brews, and the Implosion Explosion is going to live up to its bombastic name.
Festival producer Morgan Brooker says “it’s so much fun with great people, cold beer, and an amazing lineup of music.”
St. Paul and the Broken Bones is a soul outfit from Alabama that has become one of the most watched bands from NPR’s infamous Tiny Desk Concerts.
Paul, the frontman, looks like a math teacher on the outside, but when he opens his mouth, he is Otis Redding and Sam Cooke wrapped into one.
“I think people are going to be blown away,” says festival producer, Morgan Brooker.
The Implosion Explosion backyard event takes place August 13-14, For tickets and information, go here.
