Kamloops Blazers associate coach Mark Holick has stepped down from the team, citing personal reasons.
The Penticton native spent one year behind the bench, helping lead Kamloops to the BC division banner, and an appearance in the Western Conference championship series.

Holick has a 20 plus year career coaching in hockey. Prior to the Blazers, he was the head coach of the Yale Hockey Academy prep team in the CSSHL for three seasons.
The 53-year old spent time in Italy as a head coach, as well as leading the Prince George Cougars for three and a half years. He was also the head coach of the Syracuse Crunch (AHL), Kootenay Ice (WHL), Vernon Vipers (BCHL), Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL) and South Surrey Eagles (BCHL).
The Blazers wanted to thank Mark for his time with the team, and wish him and his family all the best in their future endeavours.
