While the HarbourCats’ field may remain cold and dormant for the winter, the team finds warmth in the spirit of giving.

Victoria’s favourite baseball team will give back this holiday season, hosting a food and glove drive to benefit the Anawim Companion Society, an organization that fights poverty and homelessness around the Greater Victoria area. 

The society has provided shelter and support for thousands of individuals since their inception in the early 1980s. 

The event will run from 10 am – 3 pm on Jan. 1, 2022 outside the Save-On-Foods at 3510 Blanchard St. in Saanich.

They hope to have enough donations to fill up an entire RV, so bring out your food and gloves to help your local community this holiday season.
