Be prepared for a strange day in Kelowna. 

NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said there will be a chance of rain and even thunderstorms this afternoon. 

“After a warm and sunny start to the week, we are going to see a bit of a change today,” she said. 

“There will still be sun at times; however, a weather system moving in from the southwest will also bring a risk of showers and/or thundershowers in the afternoon or evening.”

Today’s high is expected to be about 18ºC, with a low of 9ºC.

Throughout the night, there is a high chance of rain.
