  • Leading paediatrician visiting Okanagan to speak about children’s screen time

A paediatrician is coming to the Okanagan to discuss the risks and benefits of children using digital devices.

Dr Michelle Ponti, from the Child and Parent Resource Institute in London, Ont, will present evidence on the topic and offer recommendations to parents.

“Parents, caregivers and teachers are constantly challenged with the dilemma of screen time for our children,” she said.

“How much is too much? If we restrict it, will they miss out? It’s everywhere, how do we control it?”
