The start of a new year means that Kelowna businesses have to renew their business licences.
The deadline to do so is Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 4 pm and they can be completed in person at City Hall, through the mail or, of course, online.
Renewal notices were sent out to all registered Kelowna businesses in December.

“Changes are being made this year to modernize the City’s business licence system and improve service,” said Greg Wise, business licence manager.
“Some licence codes have been updated in 2020 to better reflect the diversity of Kelowna’s businesses, and new online service features are expected to be implemented this spring.”
The new online service features allow for updated customer functionality including emailed statements, as well as improved online payments and applications.
Mobile business licences are also available for an additional $150 fee.
