The Kamloops Blazers continued to roll over the weekend, this time playing two tough BC Division opponents. 

Kamloops hosted the Vancouver Giants on Friday and the Victoria Royal on Saturday. The Blazers outscored their foes by seven goals to two en route to two wins. 

On Friday, both teams were in for a tight contest. Logan Stankoven scored his 13th of the year to open the scoring, but it was tied up early in the third. After both teams pushed the game to overtime, Blazer captain Zane Frankin iced it with his 21st of the year. 

Kamloops outshout the Giants 47 to 20 on the night. Dylan Garand stopped 19 of 20 for the win. 

Saturday's game was a different story as Kamloops thoroughly dominated. Logan Stankoven opened the scoring again to give the Blazers a 1-0 lead. After Victoria answered midway through the first, Kamloops would score four unanswered goals courtesy of Orrin Centazzo, Inaki Baragano, Zane Franklin, and Ryley Appelt. Kamloops would end up winning the game by a score of 5-1. 

Garand was, once again, the goalie in the pipes for the Blazers. He stopped 17 of 18 shots en route to his second win of the weekend. 

Up next, Kamloops has a home and home with the Kelowna Rockets on Friday and Saturday. The first game goes at the Sandman Centre on Friday with puck drop at 7 pm.
