Cannabis edibles, extracts, beverages and topicals will officially be available in BC this Thursday, Dec. 19.
Despite becoming legal back on Oct. 17, the products weren't available for sale due to a Health Canada mandated 60-day notice from licensed producers looking to sell them.
However, don't go looking for cannabis baked goods, vapes, or drinks in any brick and mortar stores, as they will only be available via the BC Cannabis Store's website until the new year.
A few of Canada's cannabis companies have offered a preview of what these products will look like, but what exact items will be available for purchase this week remains unknown.
The country's largest cannabis brand Canopy Growth has a series of beverages and a line of chocolates.

Aurora has offered a small, but rather generic glimpse at their products that will include vapes, gummies, chocolates and mints.
Packaging rules for edibles include the use of plain wrapping and having no added alcohol or caffeine, with the maximum dosage per each edible package is 10-milligram of THC.
Vape products will only be permitted to contain a maximum of 1,000 milligrams of THC, while concentrates will be restricted to 90 millilitres per package with a maximum of 3% THC.
