The West Kelowna Warriors have added a familiar face to the roster.
Wyatt Head, 20, has chosen to leave Quinnipiac University and rejoin the BCHL club.
The defenseman played 136 games for West Kelowna over three seasons before leaving to play university hockey in the United States.
However, the Kelowna native decided that it wasn’t the right fit and has chosen to return home to the Okanagan.
“I really enjoyed my time at Quinnipiac,” said Head.
“It was an unbelievable group of guys but it just wasn’t the right fit for me hockey wise so I’ve decided to return to West Kelowna as I feel it’s the best choice for my hockey future.”
Head scored 71 points during his time with the Warriors, which included 42 points in his final season.
That put him sixth in defensive scoring across the entire BCHL.
