    Rapper Rich the Kid cancels Kelowna show on short notice

    It appears American rapper Rich the Kid will not be performing in Kelowna after all. 

    Scheduled to perform at Sapphire on Wednesday night, the venue announced the show was canceled at noon. 

    "Due to circumstances beyond our control 'Rich the Kid I Need a Grammy Tour' will be forced to cancel his remaining two dates on the tour slated for Kelowna, BC and Vancouver, BC," stated Blueprint Okanagan on Instagram. 

    "We apologize for any inconveniences this may incur. Online Tickets will be refunded automatically, hardcopy ticket refunds will be available at your original point of purchase."

    Rich the Kid’s Kelowna performance was scheduled to be the second last show of his “I Need A Grammy Tour” that has already stopped in eight cities across Canada.
