  • Arctic air to chill Kelowna – but sunglasses still needed

    It’s going to get very cold. 

    NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said the dial is going to remain below, or very close to, freezing this week. 

    She warned Kelownians: “Bundle up!” 

    “Cold and dry Arctic air will invade our region, keeping daytime highs and overnight temperatures near or below freezing,” Wesla explained. 

    “By midweek, our early morning temperatures will be in the minus double-digits.

    “You will need your sunglasses as there will be sun in the mix over the next several days.”

    Today’s high is expected to be around -1ºC.
