The Kamloops Blazers were in action over the weekend, this time taking on two BC Division opponents.
Kamloops would handle the Prince George Cougars on Friday, though they didn't have enough in the tank to take down the Kelowna Rockets.
In their game against PG, the goaltenders came to play. After a scoreless first two periods, Matthew Seminoff buried his second of the campaign. Rayce Ramsay did all he needed to in net, stopping all 23 shots he faced for the shutout.
Saturday was all about offense as the Rockets and Blazers combined for seven goals. In the end, Kelowna would take it by a final score of 4-3.
Logan Stankoven, Ryan Hughes, and Orrin Centazzo all scored for the Blazers in the game. Dylan Garand stopped 35 of 39 shots in a losing effort.
Up next, Kamloops is back at the Sandman Centre to host the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday. Puck drop is at 7 pm.
