Prince George Fire Rescue was busy on Tuesday after responding to a triple story complex fire.
According to Assistant Fire Chief John Law, crews arrived at the 1400 block of Irwin Street just after 7 pm. The crews found four units with smoke and flames coming from a ground-level window.
After a fast offensive attack, crews were able to knock down and extinguish the fire. Unfortunately, major damage had been done to the units, estimated at $100,000.
Crews also reported no injuries due to the blaze. The cause of the fire was due to cooking and labeled "accidental."
NowMedia will update the story if more information becomes available.
