West Kelowna racing driver Marco Kacic has won yet another F4 race.
The 16-year-old star competed at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California for the F4 Formula Pro USA Championship at the weekend.
On Saturday, he finished in first place but was penalized a position for having passed a yellow flag.
During Sunday’s race, Marco led for the majority of the day while experiencing strong pressure from behind.
But thanks to some sharp driving and chassis adjustments, he built up a solid lead and pulled off a victory.
Marco’s father, Danny, praised his son’s sponsors.
“Once again, just being able to attend this race and represent Team DMG was a massive blessing,” he explained.
“Putting together the funds to make it happen was no easy task. Thank you so much to the individuals that stepped up and invested in Marco Kacic Racing: without your help, Marco would not have been able to attend this race.”
Marco will be back in action for rounds 5 and 6 of the championship in Portland, Oregon in just over two weeks’ time.
