The Proclaimers of ‘500 miles’ fame announce Okanagan show

The Proclaimers have announced a cross-Canada tour to promote their new record.

Even if you’re not familiar with the band, there’s a good chance you’ve heard their iconic song “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)” once or twice.

The song has appeared in beer commercials as well as in popular movies like Shrek, and the duo themselves will soon appear in Vernon.

The identical twin duo of Charlie and Craig Reid will be at Vernon's Vernon & District Performing Arts Center on September 11 along with Siobhan Wilson.
