A BC based cannabis company has opted to forgo the Canadian stock market and take its Initial Public Offering (IPO) south of the border.
Tilray Inc. will be listed under the ticker symbol “TLRY” on the NASDAQ stock exchange located in New York, New York.
The NASDAQ is the second largest exchange in the world by market capitalization behind only the New York Stock Exchange.
Tilray Inc. will initially offer 9,000,000 shares of Class 2 common stock at an initial price to the public between $18.40 and $21 CAD per share on the NASDAQ.

Tilray does not intend to list on any stock exchange in Canada.
