  • A look at the road conditions across the BC Interior

Highway 33, 5 km north of Mission Creek Bridge has been reopened. The section was previously closed due to a mudslide, but crews have been busy cleaning up debris for the past week. Speed is reduced to 50 km/h and paving is planned for next week.

In Kelowna, a few showers are expected today, with winds from the north at 20 km/h. Otherwise, the roads in town are looking clear.

Highway 3A between Keremeos and the Highway 97 Junction is still reduced to single lane alternating traffic due to a mudslide occurring more than a week ago about 18.5 km east of Keremeos. Crews have been busy cleaning up large piles of debris.

If you're heading west, expect slushy sections on Highway 97C in both directions, from the junction with Pennask Summit to Highway 5A at Aspen Grove.
