  • Could Kelowna see its first snowfall this week?

Is that… snow in the forecast?

That’s right, Kelowna is in for some cold weather this week – with the possibility of flurries.

According to Environment Canada’s latest forecast, there's a chance we could be seeing snow.

We can expect moderately warm temperatures at the beginning of the week, but right after Halloween things could get chilly.

Kelowna is expected to reach a low of -3°C by Friday, with a 60% chance of rain showers or scattered flurries as soon as Wednesday night, and going into Thursday and Friday. It shouldn't last though – the forecast shows things warming up again by Saturday.

Winter has already arrived in other parts of the province, as well as at Whistler and Big White.
