    Medieval tournament hits Sun Peaks

    Chimera Theatre will be immersing visitors of Sun Peaks in the medieval life with Knights of the Sun: Medieval Tournament Theatre.

    The event promises song, dance, intrigue, romance and combat as knights will vie for the title of Champion of the Sun. The highly theatrical experience will get audience members involved with the chance to test their strength, learn how to use a sword and more.

    Tickets are $25 for people over 13 and $20 for seniors over 65 and children 12 and under. Tickets are available through the Adventure Centre located in the Tourism Sun Peaks office and can be reserved by calling 250-578-5542 or toll free at 1-800-807-3257.

    Knights of the Sun: Medieval Tournament Theatre will run on weekends at the Sun Peaks Soccer Field from June 24-August 28.

    The show will begin at 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. on Sundays.
