Highway 1 Valleyview Overpass to Go Under Construction

Rehabilitation work is set to begin on the Valleyview overpass in Kamloops.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will begin construction on the Highway 1 Valleyview overpass in Kamloops on March 29^th. The project is expected to last five weeks.

The work includes replacing bridge joints on the overpass and pouring new concrete. The work should extend the life of the overpass and maintain its operating condition.

The project will cause delays as one lane in each direction will be closed during its time.

Temporary DriveBC cameras have been installed to help drivers monitor the traffic in the area.
