Celebrities who attended the Oscars got a little Kelowna treat in their grab bags.
Jennie Brokman, who owns Brok Boys, a Kelowna-based clothing company, travelled to Hollywood to handout her Brok Boys bamboo slouchy hats to the stars.

Brokman applied to be part of the event through a PR agency out of Vancouver, who was one of the hosts for the event.
“She called me right away totally ecstatic that we had a wearable product for men! Most items are for ladies or babies from other companies,” Brokman explained.
The event was held at a historical Hollywood building, not far from where the red carpet was set up.
During the evening the celebrities were announced at the door as they arrived, and were escorted through the building and introduced to each company. Brokman and two of her friends had the chance to meet Ed Asner, Amanda Markowitz, Richard Kind, John Sally, Kevin Sorbo, and several cast members from Vanderpump Rules.
“We were gifting to each celeb a Brok Boys bamboo slouchy hat. And they were a total hit! Many of the younger people continued to wear the hat for the rest of the day! I couldn't have asked for a better response from people,” said Brokman.
