Ford has issued a recall on all 2004 Rangers.
Photo Credit: YouTube JohnsTrucks4Sale.According to the recall, posted on the Health Canada website on Monday, in some Ford Ranger models, the driver airbag could produce too much pressure when released.
This increased pressure may case the inflator to rupture, which could hit passengers.
This could also damage the airbag, meaning it won’t be able to release again. Without a working airbag, risk of injury will increase substantially.
Owners should be aware that the front driver airbag must be replaced by the dealer as soon as possible.
