If you’re planning on going away for the weekend, gas prices in Kelowna will come as good news.
According to GasBuddy.com Friday, Chevron stations and the Shell on Springfield Road are down to 94.9 cents per litre.
The majority are set at 95.9 cents per litre, including Esso, Canadian Tire, Petro Canada.
Two Essos, including the one near Loseth Drive and the Rutland Road location, are still stuck at 96.9 cents per litre.
If you’re heading to Vancouver, it’s best to fill up here, with the lowest prices in Vancouver reported at 104.9 cents per litre.
The average in the province is 99.42 cents per litre, while the national average is 89.02 cents per litre.
The prices in the province have only been this low one other time in five years, back in 2014, according to GasBuddy historic data.
Just two weeks ago, prices in Kelowna were averaging at 105.9 cents per litre.
