While this fire season isn’t over yet, the countless responders to the B.C. wildfire crisis have already proven their courage and ability.
All over the province, people are giving their thanks to firefighters, police officers and contractors who have stepped up to battle the many blazes that have burned more than one million hectares of land in B.C.
From commemorative displays, to the kindness of community members, B.C. has come together during this time of loss.
