The 69th Annual Emmy Awards nominations were announced on Thursday and the list of talent is long.
This year's nominations in the drama and comedy series shows that diversity in television is a growing art, if you will.
This year's nominations touched on just about everything including the subjugation of women, totalitarianism, battling woodland monsters, how to pull the wool over congress, a futuristic wild west, bunker life, ruling a nation, and countless political impersonations.
One might say this year's television audience wanted something with a little more meat on its bones.
