  • Xtreme Theatre to show free screening of Alzheimer’s documentary

    Okanagan Clinical Trials are to host a free educational event on Alzheimer's that will include the PBS documentary, 'Can AD be Stopped?' followed by a presentation on new research in Alzheimer’s disease by Dr. Kim Christie, Director of Research at Okanagan Clinical Trials.

    The free community event will take place at the Xtreme Theatre in West Kelowna on October 4th, starting at 7:00 pm.

    With the incidence of Alzheimer’s disease on the rise, new medications are dearly sought within both the research community and public. Scientists and clinicians dedicated to this discovery are profiled in the PBS documentary.
