Project X Theatre is back with another exciting season of family-friendly programming in Prince Charles Park, this year featuring The Jungle Book and Rapunzel.
We caught up with the famously curious Rapunzel to learn more about the dreamer behind those luscious locks:
Q: What 10 things would you bring with you if you were to be locked in a tower again?
A: I would bring a big canvas to paint on. A 1,000 piece puzzle. A piano, if I could get it up there. A bunch of big thick books to keep me occupied! And a blank journal to write my own stories in.
Q: Do you believe in happily ever after?
A: Only if you work hard and make it happen yourself!
Q: What was your favourite thing about your childhood?
A: When Nan would climb up the tower and bring a new present for me! It was always something special she chose just for me.
Q:If you could switch lives with a princess, who would you choose and why?
A: I would choose princess Ariel. She not only gets to travel in the sea, but over it too!
Q:When you left your tower for the first time, what were you feeling?
A: When I climbed down, I felt like the giddiest girl in the world! I hope Nan understands how happy being outside makes me. That’s why I want her to come with me!
Q: What is your favourite thing to do to pass the time?
A: Definitely painting! I make up stories for all of my paintings and the time flies by!
Q: What most fascinated you about the outside world?
A: EVERYTHING! But mostly the potential it held for me to find out new things!
Q: If you were a crayon, what colour would you be and why?
A: I would be a purple crayon! Red used to be my favourite color but then I started to like blue. So I mixed them together and got purple!
Q: What word best describes you?
A: Adventurous.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: I would go over the far horizon and hopefully find myself in a tropical paradise!
