  • Winter storm warning in effect for Prince George

    Looks like the snowfall is far from over.

    Environment Canada has recently released a winter storm warning in effect for the Prince George area.

    According to Environment Canada, hazardous winter conditions are expected.

    Heavy snowfall will begin this afternoon and will intensify this evening with the storm moving southward by Wednesday night.

    Between 30 and 50 cm of snow is expected to fall by tomorrow.

    Environment Canada would like to remind the public that roads could be difficult and dangerous to drive on with visibility being low at times.

    The City will clear roads in priority order.
