A fire broke out this morning at the Windy Point Inn on Highway 97 North.
The building that was home to an Inn, restaurant and gas station was found to be fully engulfed in flames.

Mackenzie Fire and Rescue attended the location at 7:43 a.m.
Fire and Rescue arrived on scene equipped with one apparatus, one chief vehicle and seven firefighters.
The structure has since collapsed in on itself and is continuing to smolder.
The estimated dollar loss of the building is unknown at this time.
Potential injuries are also unknown.
At the time of the fire, the highway was closed for approximately two hours. Since then, the road has re-opened and is fully operational.
