If you're like many other people in Kelowna, the weekend for you is all about enjoying the city at your own leisurely pace. With so much going on in our community, it can be hard to fit all the things you want to do into your busy schedule. KelownaNow is here to help!
Each weekend we'll compile a list of five or more things you need to know about. Whether it's community events, treats you have to try, killer sales or where to find some dance-worthy live music, we've got you covered on activities you need to KNow to make the most of your weekend.

Kick off your St. Paddy’s Day party early by enjoying some craft brew and delicious eats. The soon to be hot spot of Kelowna, Craft Beer Market, is teaming up with the Start Fresh Kitchen teams to raise funds for the Kitchen’s programs.
Hosted at Third Space Coffee, this Friday, attendees can expect goodies from tons of local businesses, a silent auction and craft beer samples from 5 p.m. to 8p.m.! Tickets available here.
St. Paddy’s Day
A day to celebrate all things Irish, St. Patrick’s Day is a party and half in more ways than one! From great food deals, and tasty drinks (our favourite is green beer) to dressing up in green from head to toe, St. Paddy’s day is an excuse to have a blast all weekend long.
Our food columnist, Keddy Pavlik, put together a list of the best places to find a good time on Saturday night.
Spring Fling Market
If you’re looking to get your fix of artisan market goodness, all the while enjoying the quickly approaching spring, then head to the Spring Fling Market at the East Kelowna Hall.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features a host of local vendors with a wide variety of products, from handmade jewelry, organic skin care and some tasty homemade goodies.
St. Paddy’s Sports
There is nothing like taking in a sporting event on St. Paddy’s! Having the luck of the Irish on your team's side brings out the inner cheerleader, making the game that much more exciting.
Our Okanagan Roller Derby ladies will be taking on the Castlegar Dam City Rollers for their season opener this Saturday night. From 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Central Sports Club you can soak up the thrilling atmosphere of a hard-hitting Roller Derby game.
The event is family friendly and even has some kids activities at halftime.
